Highly talented high school athletes who exhibit the following are eligible for the Leo Lewis Football Academy:

Contributed or can contribute to their varsity football program |
| |
Maintained above average academic and character standing |
| |
A potential to play football in college , and |
| |
Portrayed a record of school and/or community service |
|
|
A majority of the athletes are invited from high schools in the upper Midwest. Students must be starting their high school years (10-12 grade) in the fall of 2005. As in previous years, enrollment is limited.
