The 2005 Leo Lewis Football Academy is a residential and day camp that will be held July 10-13, 2005 at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Additional day Academies are available for Jr. & Sr. High students. Director Leo Lewis will be assisted by coaches and athletes from the intercollegiate and professional levels. The student to coach ratio is 10:1. The academy offers life skills professionals who provide workshops, open forums and group discussions surrounding real-life experiences.


Sr. Academy
Highly talented high school athletes who exhibit the following are eligible for the Leo Lewis Football Academy:
•  Contributed or can contribute to their varsity football program
•  Maintained above average academic and character standing
•  A potential to play football in college , and
•  Portrayed a record of school and/or community service

A majority of the athletes are invited from high schools in the upper Midwest. Students must be starting their high school years (10-12 grade) in the fall of 2005. As in previous years, enrollment is limited.

Jr. Academy
Young athletes, entering grades 7-9, who exhibit the following are eligible for the Leo Lewis Football Academy:
•  Any individual who has a strong desire to play football
•  Contributed or can contribute to an organized football program
•  Maintained good academic and character standing, and
•  Portrayed a record of school and/or community service
